Translation Services

The vendor is required to provide translation services including terminological research, on various general and specialized documents for the correctional service of country.
- Provide translation services in both official languages english and French. 
- Agency estimates that 70% of the work will consist of translating text english to French and 30% will be translation of French to english.
- The spelling, grammar and punctuation of texts in both official languages.
- Translation of explicit material up to including protected level b may be required and agrees to perform the task.
- Type of service required:
• Regular - less than 1,000 words per request: up to 1 day; 1,001-2,500 words per request: up to 2 days; 2,501-5,000 words per request: up to 4 days; 5,001-10,000 words per request: up to 6 days; over 10,000 words per request: negotiable.
• Urgent - less than 1,000 words per request: up to 3 hours; 1,001-2,500 words per request: up to 1 day; 2,501-5,000 words per request: up to 2 days; 5,001-10,000 words per request: up to 4 days; over 10,000 words per request: negotiable
- Able to perform all work in both official languages (english and French) and deliver the services in the official language requested.
- Contract Period/Term: 5 years
