The Vendor is required to provide for interpreter services for individuals who do not speak and understand the English language.
- Component one (remote interpreter services):
• Unscheduled (on demand) contacts to state at home (the division of long term services and supports intake and referral phone line) and LTSS case managers and staff
• Unscheduled (on-demand) contacts to answer consumer questions, including canceling and rescheduling of visits for interpreter services.
• Scheduled contacts with LTSS case managers to conduct case management activities, including a needs assessment.
• Scheduled contacts with provider agency staff contracted with LTSS when interpreter services are necessary for the provision of services (primarily nursing services).
- Component two (in-person interpreter services):
• Scheduled interpreter services with LTSS staff and the participant to conduct case management activities, including a needs assessment and consumer experience survey, when in-person interpreter services are the only feasible option for the participant.
• Scheduled interpreter services with provider agency staff contracted with LTSS when necessary for the provision of services in the home (primarily nursing services) when in-person interpreter services are the only feasible option for the participant.

• Unscheduled (on-demand) calls to state at home (the division of long term services and supports intake and referral line), and to LTSS case managers and staff.
• Unscheduled (on-demand) contacts to respond to participant needs, such as canceling or rescheduling visits involving interpreter services.
• Scheduled contacts between long term services and supports (LTSS) case managers and participants to support case management activities, including needs assessments.
• Scheduled contacts between contracted provider agency staff and participants, when interpretation is needed to deliver authorized services (primarily nursing services).
- Component two: in-person interpreter services:
• Scheduled interpreter services with LTSS staff and participants to support case management activities, including needs assessments and consumer experience surveys.
• Scheduled interpreter services with provider agency staff contracted with LTSS, when needed to deliver in-home services (primarily nursing services).
