The vendor is required to provide translation services to wide range of languages for interpretation; however, several can be identified as the “most common” languages in addition to uncommon languages including:
• American sign language
• Arabic
• Chaldean
• Bengali
• Spanish
• Wolof
• Cantonese
• Chinese
• Albanian
- A list of languages offered including whether certified or qualified
- Itemized billing, including case number, name, and date
- Interpreter may handle multiple cases while at the court at no additional cost
- Interpreting services are paid by the hour with a two-hour guarantee.
- The court does not pay for travel time, mileage, lunch hours, or emergency services.
- Reasonable, one interpreter will handle multiple clients.
- ASL interpreters supplied by the awarded vendor(s) shall adhere to the registry of interpreters for the deaf (RID) code of professional conduct.
