Interpretation Services

The vendor is required to provide interpretation for the provision of on-site or web-ex interpreter services for non-English speaking parties and witnesses on the commission’s evidentiary hearings throughout the commission.
- Provide foreign language interpreters upon request for all commission evidentiary hearing that involve non-English speaking parties or witnesses where the parties do not provide an interpreter of their own Choosing.
- All interpretation is held in consecutive mode.
- Interpreter service personnel must have the capability to participate in virtual hearings where applicable using WebEx or other comparable virtual meeting platforms, with reliable audio and video connectivity.
- For virtual hearings, interpreters must have a stable internet connection with a minimum upload and download speed of 10 MBPS, a high-definition (HD) webcam (720p or higher), and a noise-canceling microphone or headset to ensure clear communication.
