The Vendor is required to provide for translation services on an as needed and requested basis
- Translate from English-to-French or French-to-English materials related to the commercial real estate industry, tourism industry and government that may include, but not limited to general correspondence, corporate documents, marketing literature, website content, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, legal documents, financial documents, Excel spreadsheets, social media posts, design files, etc.
- The total monthly word count (on average) is approximately 60,000 including repeated words and phrases.
- Numbers and figures appearing in text are counted as a word.
- Provide appropriate ongoing onboarding and training services to the Company.
- Provide multilingual translation services from English to other global languages including but not limited to Spanish, Mandarin, Korean, Cantonese and Indigenous languages (upon request) on an as needed and requested basis.
- Translation requests may be required to be returned on a rush basis, on a mutually agreed upon timing.
- Provide creative/marketing adaptation, simultaneous interpretation (during live meetings/events that are typically virtual but may be in-person in rare instances), and transcription and localization services on an as-needed basis.
- Ensure the translated or revised text meets the highest standards of linguistic excellence.
- The platforms and software that are used for AI-assisted translations.
- This includes transparency around whether offline AI models or proprietary AI models are used.
- The AI translations have been known to show more of a contextual understanding of the source language content being translated, while also showing an ability to adapt and learn based on preferred terms and more.
- While AI-assisted translations are a continuously evolving technology, they’ve made breakthroughs in the ability to surpass the quality of traditional “machine translation” tools.
