The Vendor is required to provide multiple resources (interpreters) to assist with consecutive and simultaneous Interpretation Services in-person, by teleconference and virtually through video in the Region. A minimum of three (3) Interpreters including: one (1) American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter, one (1) Langue des Signes Québécoise (LSQ) interpreter, and one (1) Deaf Interpreter must be available at all times.
- Must ensure that the individual resources provide interpretation services impartially.
- Must ensure that the interpretation is complete, accurate and faithful to the original message with respect to meaning, free of omissions, additions, or distortions.
- Must provide a list of security cleared personnel to the technical authority quarterly for verification at any given time.
- When In-person (onsite) interpretation services are required
- Must provide Virtual (offsite) Interpretation Service via teleconference or video conference, where the Contractor can ensure that confidentiality can be guaranteed, such as an enclosed boardroom or office.
