Medical Document Translation Services

The Vendor is required to provide for the provision of translation services of written materials for hospital’s emergency department, inpatient, outpatient, and perioperative areas limited English Proficiency (“LEP”) population to ensure that these patients will be able to interact effectively with their health care provider in order to receive the proper care that they need.
- This service will involve translating documents from a foreign language to English as well as from English to the foreign language.
- This request does not include sign language interpreter services, on-site spoken language interpretation services, telephonic interpretation services or video interpretation services.
- Hospital requests a general turn time of 1 (one) week for most documents. In cases where the document is lengthy, Hospital would anticipate a turn time of up to 3 (three) weeks.
