The vendor required to provide on-site and telehealth interpretation services, during medical and psychological consultative examinations (CE), on an as need basis.

- On-site interpreting
• Interpretation services shall be provided on-site at department-authorized consultative examination locations throughout the state.
• Interpreters will facilitate direct communication between the claimant and the healthcare provider.
- Telehealth interpreting
• Interpretation services must also be provided for psychological or psychiatric consultative examinations conducted remotely via secure telehealth platforms.
• Telehealth services are limited to adult claimants.
- Responsibilities and tasks
• Provide a secure, web-based platform for scheduling and managing interpretation requests.
• Arrange for a qualified interpreter(s), for planned appointments, in a timely manner.
• Maintain and provide a copy of an interpreter’s attendance verification form, signed by the examiner and the interpreter.
• Maintain and provide incident reports for all service issues, including interpreter no-shows or language mismatches.
• Supplying interpreters with short notice when necessary.
• Interpreter cannot attend the consultative examination the contractor shall provide a backup interpreter.
