The Vendor is required to provide professional translation services for manuals, pamphlets, tests, or other written documentation from English to Spanish.
- Translations must be accurate, culturally appropriate, and maintain the original meaning, tone, and formatting as closely as possible.
- The contractor is responsible for proofreading and ensuring the final translations are free of any errors.
- Provide translated documents in both Microsoft Word (.docx) and PDF Formats.
- The original source materials will typically be provided in Microsoft Word or PDF Format, unless an alternative source format is specified (e.g., USB flash drive, printed hard copy, or other digital file types).
- Provide a completed-by date for the requested translation based on the document’s word count, complexity, and any rush requirements (All documents will be sent in English to be translated primarily in Spanish).

• Application for Change of Address (DL-64) – 564 words
• Application for a Texas Driver License or ID card (DL-14A) – 1,398 words
- All translations must be delivered by the agreed-upon date.
- If delays occur, the Contractor must notify the Contract Monitor for the Department in writing at least 48 hours in advance, providing reasons and a revised timeline.
