Wide Language Interpretation and Translation Services

The vendor required to provide comprehensive and reliable interpretation and translation services to support county residents with limited english proficiency (LEP) and individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Requirement:
1. On-demand remote interpretation services (24/7/365)
•    Phone interpretation available in a vast array of languages using designated phone number
•    Video interpretation including american sign language (ASL)
2. Scheduled in-person and video interpretation
•    Ability to schedule in-person or video interpretation services with designated date, time, and location
•    Turnaround time for scheduling should be no longer than two business days
•    Specifically in child welfare, county requires same-day in-person translation services to be available, though this is not a requirement for all providers because multiple providers can be awarded
3. Document translation
•    Turnaround time for document translation should be no longer than 5 business days depending on the length of the document.
