Translation Services

The Vendor is required to provide English-to-French and French-to-English translation services, including quality assurance, for all documents produced under their direction.
- The texts will include both common and technical terminology. 
- It is essential that all translations maintain consistency terminology, tone, and style found in existing agency publications and reports. 
- When processing text for translation, the contractor must:
•    Translate all text and document elements provided, including tables, graphics, figures, and illustrations, unless otherwise specified by the technical authority. 
•    Ensure that all translations and revisions use a style and level of language appropriate to the nature and intended use of the document. 
•    Consult previously published material, including agency reports and official terminology resources, to ensure consistency with government-specific terminology, particularly the names of programs, policies, regulations, and legislation.
•    Review all translations for quality and accuracy, ensuring that the meaning, intent, and terminology of the original text are fully preserved and correctly rendered in the translated version.
