The Vendor is required to provide foreign language interpretation, translation and telephonic for the agency individuals and staff as scheduled by the project representative.
- Interpreters must have a minimum of 2 years’ legal and court interpretation and translation experience.
- Interpreters must have a minimum of 2 years’ mental and/or developmental hospital interpretation and translation experience.
- Provide Foreign Language Interpreters that are proficient in interpreting the requested language to and from English and will also retain a valid and current certification of any of the following:
• Certificate of Interpretation
• Certificate of Translation and Interpretation
• Comprehensive Skill Certificate
- Provide proof that each Interpreter who will provide services to center is certified by submitting a list of Foreign Language Interpreter names along with a legible copy of each Foreign Language Interpreter’s current certification and membership cards.
- Provide Foreign Language Interpreter(s) up to, but not more than 40 hours per week, for up to 52 weeks, per Foreign Language Interpreter, as requested by center Project Representative(s).
- Foreign Language Interpretation services shall be provided during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding recognized State holidays.
- The Foreign Language Interpreter(s) will not perform services after hours, on weekends, or holidays without the express written consent of center Project Representative(s), or their designee.
