The Vendor is required to provide English to French and French to English translation services.
- Francophone and bilingual institutions often have unique challenges with identifying high quality resources, integrating bilingual content seamlessly, ensuring equitable access to digital resources, and meeting the pedagogical needs of their diverse student populations
- Provide bilingual or strategically identified French education resources, programs, and services.
- Contents that may require translation:
• Websites and applications
• Online courses and training modules
• Textbooks, Guides, Teaching aids
• Graphics, communications, reports, promotional material, official document
• Rich media
- Assumptions:
• Working language will be in English i.e. communications with agency staff. Due to the nature of the translation work, French communications will also be required.
• Agency regular business hours are 9 am – 5pm, Monday to Friday, location (Eastern Time).
• Qualified Respondents are expected to respond to communications within 24 hours (1 business day).
• Communication with agency staff will occur via Microsoft Teams, email, telephone and possibly in person.
• Project bids and timelines are expected within 48 hours (2 business days) from time requested by agency unless otherwise stated and mutually agreed upon by the agency and the Qualified Respondent.
• Project delivery commitments are to be strictly adhered to unless alternate arrangements are agreed upon with agency.
• Translations must be returned in the originating file/format provided. This may include images, rich media and agency as well as other format types; .docx, and .xlxs.
• Files must be act compliant.
