The Vendor is required to provide sign language interpreting services (flexible pool equivalent to 1.5 FTE) billed hourly and a dedicated contract administrator billed on a flat monthly fee and program consultant coordinator billed on a flat monthly fee.
- Program consultant coordinator and sign language interpreting
• The program consultant coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the interpreter program, including responding to school and district requests, reassigning interpreters based on student attendance in consultation with district staff, and ensuring service continuity.
• The coordinator will work with district staff on a routinized basis to ensure all district interpreting needs are met.
• This position is to be billed at a fixed monthly flat rate (all-inclusive).
- Sign language interpreter pool 1.5 FTE equivalent
• The contract will include 1.5 FTE sign language interpreter pool (approx. 2,925 hours and year if fully utilized) capacity dedicated to sd36. 2,925 hours is an estimate based on historical usage and is used solely for evaluation fairness.
• The district does not guarantee any minimum or maximum hours
• These positions will provide substitute interpreting services in classrooms (i.e. one on one student support, peer communications), meetings, and other school-based environments as required.
• Sign language interpreters must be billed at an hourly rate inclusive of all costs, including mileage, benefits, and all loadings.
