ASL Interpreting Services

The Vendor is required to provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services for Department for employee attending staff meetings and trainings as needed.

• American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services for Department for employee attending staff meetings and trainings as needed. Certification and experience in ASL interpreting required.
• This project will be contracted as an agreement for one (1) consecutive year (Phase I), with the possibility to extend the contract for two (2) one- year renewals.
- Minimum of two hour per meeting, training, etc. upon request.
- Must be available in person, Zoom or MS Teams upon request.
- Must have a minimum of 10 years ASL experience.
- One interpreter up to two hours and second interpreter can be scheduled after two hours.
- When two interpreters are needed agencies must allow to team with the other agency (if needed).
- Preferable interpreters that are familiar with Engineering/Transportation knowledge/background.
- Agency must assign client preferred interpreters in a pool as requested to use when available for a meeting/training.
- Interpreter(s) parking will be validated at the park center office; sometimes meeting, trainings and/or others can be held at other locations. Must be willing to walk 5-10 minutes from park center to other local locations where to be held. Location will be given upon request.
- Parking is available at other locations with a parking fee is their responsibility.
