- The program is taught by an instructor with expertise in linguistic, cultural and legal aspects of the medical interpreting, and a practicing Medical Doctor providing services for diverse population groups.
- The program is based on industry accepted Codes of Ethics and Standards of Practice and addresses in detail the process of national certification for medical interpreters.
- Students will develop essential skills in note-taking and memory enhancement to improve interpreting performance across a variety of environments, including mental and behavioral healthcare settings.
- These skills help foster improved workplace conduct, increase job retention, and prepare participants for advancement, enabling them to contribute to positive and healthy workplace cultures.
