Sign Language Interpretation Services

The Vendor is required sign language interpretation services for students requiring accommodations.
• Services may include, but are not limited to, classroom instruction, academic activities, meetings, college events, and other approved accommodation needs.
• Interpreter services shall include the accurate, complete, and impartial interpretation of spoken and written English into American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication modes used by the individual, as well as the interpretation of ASL or other communication modes into spoken English.
• Interpreters shall provide services in a professional manner, adhering to recognized standards of ethics and confidentiality while facilitating effective communication without altering or omitting content.
• Timely interpreter services for classroom instruction, laboratories, testing, student services, meetings, orientations, campus events, employee functions, and other College-related activities.
