The Vendor is required to provide photographs will need to be interpreted, depending on survey outcomes, but the exact number could be more or less.
- Photographs and must provide the following services:
• Identify all caribou in the photographs, ensuring that each caribou is counted only once;
• Identify all caribou by age as either adult (at least one year old including yearlings) calf or unknown sex;
• Count total number of other large mammal species seen on the digital photos (bears, wolves, moose, wolverine etc.
• The independent counter does not need to be subcontracted or a third-party.
• The proponent may subcontract if they do not have another counter in their organization that could do an independent count of a select subset of photographs or if they do not have an organizational model that allows for independence between counters;
• Remain in contact with the project authority and provide regular updates as photos are counted and results accumulate; and
• Attendance at meetings will be virtual via teleconference or videoconference.
