The Vendor is required to provide police access control system services shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. System replacement:
• Remove and decommission the existing Keri systems access control system, as required
• Install a new Motorola Avigilon Alta cloud-based access control system.
• Existing wiring infrastructure may be reused where feasible; however, all existing access control hardware shall be replaced.
2. Hardware installation:
• Furnish and install access control components for approximately one hundred forty four (144) doors and twenty-five (25) gates.
• Quantities are based on the current system specifications and may include additional devices as needed for full system functionality.
• All required hardware, including but not limited to controllers, card readers, electronic locking devices, power supplies, panels, and associated mounting hardware
• Reader devices shall be Motorola solutions open path standard smart readers or approved equivalent compatible with the specified system.
• Install all required cabling, wiring, and network connectivity components necessary for system operation
3. Software, licensing, and configuration:
• All required system software, licenses, and subscriptions, and cloud hosting services.
• Configure the system to include user roles, access levels, schedules, and permissions and credential management.
• Coordinate with the city’s it department for system connectivity and compliance with applicable network security requirements.
• Solution shall be a turnkey installation, including all network-related components necessary for successful implementation.
4. Credentials:
• Program physical access credentials, including keycards, fobs, and mobile access for authorized personnel.
• Ensure compatibility with the installed system and future scalability.
5. System integration:
• Integrate the access control system with existing security infrastructure, where applicable.
• Potential integration with existing CCTV systems, dispatch systems, alarms, or building management systems may be required; however, such integrations are currently unknown and shall be coordinated with the city if applicable.
• Ensure seamless operation with existing or planned technologies
6. Testing and commissioning:
• Perform complete system testing to verify functionality, reliability, and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve all deficiencies prior to final acceptance
• Final system commissioning and ensure the system is fully operational
7. Documentation:
• Complete project documentation, including as-built drawings, system configurations, user manuals, warranty documentation, and maintenance guidelines
• Existing as-built drawings or door schedules; the contractor shall verify all field conditions and develop necessary documentation.
