The vendor is required to provide professional armed security guard services for the court services shall be provided during scheduled municipal court sessions and jury trials.
- General Service requirements
• Trained, licensed, armed security personnel to ensure the safety and security of court operations, city staff, and the public.
• All assigned security guards must possess a valid security guard license and perform duties in a professional, alert, and courteous manner at all times.
- Core security duties
• Maintaining continuous vigilance and situational awareness throughout assigned shits
• Conducting screening operations for weapons and contraband using provided equipment
• Preventing unauthorized access to restricted or non-public areas
• Learning and enforcing the court's rules and any standing orders governing court decorum and conduct, including managing disruptive individuals.

- Contractor responsibilities

• Ensure all personnel are properly trained in public interaction, firearm handing, and use-of-force standards
• Maintain a sufficient pool of trained personnel to provide uninterrupted coverage.

• Provide all necessary uniforms, firearms, and related equipment (excluding city- provided screening and communication devices)
• Maintain a valid city of business license or obtain one within two weeks of contract award
• Coordinate scheduling and provide timely notice of any staffing changes or absences participate in regular coordination meetings with city representatives (monthly during the first year, then quarterly or as needed)
• Participate in an annual performance and service-level audit

• Regular court sessions: first and third Tuesdays of each month, typically 8:30am to 12:00 pm.
• Jury trials: typically scheduled on the second Tuesday of the month, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Extended proceedings: services must continue beyond scheduled hours when required, until released by the municipal court administrator or designee
- Facility-specific services municipal court
• Conduct pre-opening and periodic facility sweeps to identify security risks
• Operate entry screening checkpoints, including metal detectors and related equipment manage public entry, movement, and flow within the facility
• Assist with detainee or defendant management when necessary
• Support and coordinate with local law enforcement as needed
• Perform additional duties as directed by the municipal court administrator or designee.
