The vendor required to provide wayfinding signs were originally installed in 2022 during the west city street improvement project.
- Installation of new street signage
• Contractor shall submit shop drawings prior to fabrication of signs for county’s approval.
• Sign shall be installed with new breakaway kit to existing footer.
- Installation of breakaway sign pole base for new street signage
• Furnish and install a break away sign pole base, shutter products or county approved equal, meeting FDOT standards.
• Replacement of footers is not required for these locations.
• An aluminum cover shall be fabricated and installed around the sign pole to fully enclose and protect the breakaway system.
• The breakaway base shall be connected to the existing foundation and the proposed sign pole to ensure proper functionality of the breakaway system.
