The Vendor is required to provide in corporate governance, public-sector governance, and the conservation authorities act.
- Balancing environmental capacity and human need, we manage natural resource features that are essential for sustaining water quality and quantity, through watershed planning, stewardship, environmental monitoring and research, and management of conservation and natural areas.
- Provide legal services that may include, but are not limited to:
• Advising on board governance, municipal relations, and statutory responsibilities under the conservation authority’s act and related legislation.
• Reviewing and updating bylaws, governance policies, procedural documents, and board/committee charters.
• Supporting governance modernization efforts and best‐practice implementation.
• Providing guidance on regulatory compliance, risk management, and conflict‐of‐interest matters.
• Providing advice related to board and committee meetings, including interpretation of procedural and statutory requirements.
