The vendor is required to provide from videographers and video-editing professionals to produce videos for a variety of projects.
- Typical video vendor responsibilities:
• Host discovery meetings with the agency to understand the requirements of requested video projects, as they arise.
• Provide a cost and time estimate for each project, as requested.
• Work with an agency senior communications advisor during pre-production to:
o Understand the target audience.
o Assess and agree on video style (animation/b-roll/original footage needs).
o Plan storyboards and shot lists.
o Conduct pre-interviews with video participants.
• Shoot the videos (the agency senior communications advisor would schedule shoots in consultation with the vendor and oversee production on-site at the shoots).
o Collect and manage consent forms from individuals filmed.
• All footage and files from all locations in the formats optimal for editing are required deliverables.
• Manage the post-production process collaboratively with the agency senior communications advisor.
o Vendor will manage the editing process and the agency senior communications advisor will be the primary relationship holder with the video participants and would serve as the liaison to manage feedback and approvals.
o Vendor and the agency senior communications advisor would agree on a production schedule.
o Vendor would adhere to agency brand requirements for intros, extros, transitions and wipes.
• Create graphics, motion graphics, animations and animated type, record voiceover with music soundtrack, edit the videos, and provide closed captioning files.
