The Vendor is required to provide video production services for full-cycle film production, including research support, filming, editing, and delivery.
- Requirement:
1. Pre-production
• Discovery phase with town project team to finalize vision, narrative arc, and objectives.
• Creation of a creative brief, story outline, and filming plan.
• Research and development of interview list, locations, historical integration, and filming logistics.
• Permitting coordination, including drone operations, crown land access, and industry site access.
2. Production
• On-site filming at locations including:
• Canfor fox creek sawmill
• Reforested cut-blocks
• Kay-bob north and south oil fields
• Natural landscapes
• Community sites (historic buildings, landmarks)
• Aerial drone cinematography.
• Collection of interviews with residents, industry workers, indigenous representatives, historians, business owners, and municipal leadership.
• Coordination with industry to ensure safety and access.
3. Post-production
• Editing of all raw footage into the final film.
• Incorporation of licensed music, voiceover narration, archival footage, and graphics.
• Color grading, sound design, and rendering.
• Delivery of final film in multiple formats (mp4, 4k, web-optimized, social formats).
• Subtitles in English (French optional add-on).
