The Vendor is required to provide digital large-format aerial photography at 30 mm ground sample distance (GSD), airborne global navigation satellite system (GNSS) and inertial measurement system (IMS) data, photogrammetric mapping, digital terrain models (DTMS), and Ortho-imagery to support the city and three of its landfill sites as per the contract documents.
- Core service activates
• Aerial photo acquisition and planning, QA/QC and acquired photo approval with aerial triangulation
• Provide activities all reports and related updates to the project specified in the SOR
- Support activities
• Communications and updates
• Documentation and record-keeping
• Coordination with city staff or stakeholders
• General administrative tasks required for effective service delivery
- Optional and on-demand services
• CGS may require the modification of the desired footprint of a landfill to be captured, mapped, and the sequence of which landfill needs to be mapped in priority due the ongoing projects of the current year.
- Provide all equipment, personnel, approvals, processing, QA/QC, reporting, and deliverables required for:
• Aerial photography acquisition by fixed winged aircraft
• Airborne GNSS and IMS data collection
• Aerial triangulation and adjustment
• Digital photogrammetric mapping and DTM generation
• Ortho-imagery production (mosaicked, radio metrically balanced)
• Metadata and final reporting
- Aerial photography
• Large-format digital frame-based sensor
• Minimum frame: 14,430 × 9,420 pixels; sensor resolution 7.2 µM; 100 mm focal length
• Concurrent capture of panchromatic and RGB imagery
• Forward motion compensation errors ≤ 15 µm
• Tilt and crab ≤ 5°, average tilt per line < 2°
• No up-sampling to meet GSD is permitted.
