The Vendor is required to provide senior strategic advisory services in support of initiatives for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in state, addressing sector disruptions such as labour shortages, tariffs, supply chain volatility, and skills gaps.
- Lead the design and delivery of programs and initiatives, establish relationships with partners and contractors, and support the achievement of defined performance metrics, including participation and program outcomes.
- Strategic Leadership and Program Oversight
• Lead the design of programs and initiatives targeting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the sector
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and support effective implementation
• Provide ongoing leadership to maintain alignment with program objectives and funding requirements
- Program Development and Delivery
• Lead the development and delivery of multiple program cohorts targeting SMEs
• Ensure programs align with industry needs and support technology adoption and program outcomes
• Monitor program performance and recommend adjustments as required to support the achievement of desired outcomes
• Direct the delivery of proof-of-concept (POC) program involving collaboration among industry participants and university, including engagement with university students where applicable
- Stakeholder and Partner Engagement
• Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with industry partners, contractors, and ecosystem participants
• Support collaboration among stakeholders to enable successful program delivery
• Establish and maintain an industry-led advisory committee to inform program direction
- Client Engagement and Sector Development
• Establish and implement client engagement strategies to recruit and support the participation of SMEs in program offerings
• Support initiatives that contribute to sector growth, including job creation, revenue growth, and private sector investment
- Operational Planning and Financial Oversight
• Develop and implement an operational plan aligned with program objectives
• Establish, execute, and track an annual budget to support program delivery
• Monitor progress against the operational plan and budget
• Recommend additional resources required to achieve objectives, while remaining within the overall budget.
- Reporting and Performance Measurement
• Establish reporting processes to track progress against defined performance metrics
• Report to university and funding stakeholders as required
• Achieve key performance indicators, including participation and program outcomes.
