The Vendor is required to provide an experienced advertising partner to provide communications and marketing services for the ministry.
- Health managed multiple public information/social marketing campaigns as a key component to promote and influence behaviors to ensure optimal health.
- Campaigns focused on providing residents with important information on encouraging routine immunizations, testing and treatment.
- All media platforms were used including television, print, radio, and cinema, and billboards, captive and social media.
- In addition to public health marketing, campaigns included: health human resources, particularly physicians, mental health and addictions, reducing stigma, overdose awareness, suicide prevention, and HIV testing and treatment, and organ and tissue donor registry awareness.
- Typically, the advertising partner is involved in about 20 to 30 communications projects of varying size throughout the year.
- Interested vendors must demonstrate professional experience in:
• Strategic communication planning for the health care or similar human services industry;
• Experience leading campaigns that lead to human behavior changes and;
• Public awareness campaigns for the public service.
- Regarding media planning and placement, the vendor will have experience developing, managing and evaluating campaigns and strategies involving all media.
- Provide a proven record of supplying imaginative, effective solutions to communications objectives with innovative creative to assist the ministry in effectively reaching target audiences.
