The Vendor is required to provide professionally published writers who specialize in content for consumers, lifestyle, travel and travel trade media as well as various business audiences.
- Writers should specialize in informational and persuasive writing. Corporate and technical writing experience is an asset. Writers may be asked to blend styles as required. Candidates should have experience writing for web and have a working knowledge of SEO and AI best practices.
- Types of writing assignments include but are not limited to:
• Copywriting – articles/stories, descriptive paragraphs
• Website copy (consumer, media, industry, and investor)
• Other additional content as needed, including white papers, script-writing, travel itineraries and more
- Graphic and Visual Design
• Requires digital and print graphic design support for marketing, website, corporate and general business needs. From creating promotional materials, corporate documents, infographics, maps, templates and layouts, and touching up images and other assets, this person should be well versed in digital design and visual identity and will be expected to adhere to agency brand guidelines.
- Social Media Content Creators
• Based creators who are highly engaged and skilled in creating content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, blogs, etc.) to tell meaningful stories, share photos and video and engage in conversations with fans and followers. These skills are typically a mix of writing, photography, and videography, which are brought together with a highly engaging voice and a deep understanding of the platform being used.
- Photography and/or Videography and Video Editing Services:
• Travel – capturing images of landscapes, people and locations that illustrate authentic travel experiences.
• Scenic and nature – landscapes, cityscapes, wildlife and nature of the natural beauty of state including, but not limited to, cities, prairies, mountains, lakes, northern forests and badlands
• Adventure/action – photography/videography of sporting experiences, adventure, spectators and outdoor settings.
• Festivals and events – people, lifestyle and atmosphere that occurs during events and festivals. Ability to mingle with people and capture their best frames in public places including candid images/frames.
• Architecture – capturing images in different lights both indoor and outdoor of hotels, resorts and attractions; capturing video that highlights architectural and design features of hotels, resorts and attractions from the interior to the exterior. Should be able to provide coverage in varying light and weather conditions.
• Photojournalism – telling a story about a particular event or activity through photography. Visuals would accompany a written story and complement each other.
• Accompanying creative services could include: photo editing, sourcing talent for shoots, styling (hair, make-up, wardrobe, props), logistical and production assistance prior to and during the shoot.
• Corporate – photo: capturing corporate headshots, business-related imagery such as corporate events, products or services. Video: capturing corporate video footage and business-related scenes such as corporate events, products or services. Ability to effectively communicate with and interview subjects for storytelling purposes.
• Other videography- and photography-related assignments, as required.
• Logistics coordination, scouting, travel booking, film permitting, itinerary development, partner outreach and guiding of tourism promotional media visits and content development productions for broadcast, photography, print and online media.
• Production assistance including support with creative services such as sourcing creators and talent for shoots, styling (hair, make-up, wardrobe, props), logistical and production assistance prior to and during the shoot.
