The Vendor is required to provide live streaming and production for home games and special events, utilizing a minimum two-camera setup with experienced operators and proficiency in VMIX and related production systems.
- Responsibilities
• Provide a minimum of two cameras and experienced camera operators for all home athletic events.
• Demonstrate experience and proficiency with VMIX software and live event production systems.
• Control, monitor, and troubleshoot broadcast and streaming systems, including the bolt computer.
• Reliable communication system between the producer, camera operators, announcers, scoreboard operators, and game-day staff to ensure effective coordination and seamless execution of all broadcasts and in-venue productions.
• Work collaboratively with information technology services to ensure adequate bandwidth, connectivity, and reliable streaming capabilities.
• Coordinate with the colleges to ensure all games are properly streamed, uploaded to colleges TV, and meet all conference broadcast requirements.
• Act as a direct liaison with the marketing and communications department to support institutional branding and promotional initiatives.
• Work closely with the advancement department to ensure all sponsorship and advertising obligations are fulfilled during broadcasts and in-venue productions.
• Manage and display graphics, sponsor advertisements, animations, scoreboards, and video board content.
• Instant replay functionality for both live broadcasts and in-house presentations.
• Ensure scoreboards are fully operational, synchronized, and displaying approved advertisements, branding, and game information.
• Provide and manage music, in-game audio, public address support, and event entertainment where required.
• Provide pre-game, halftime, and post-game production support, including interviews, highlights, promotional reads, and feature segments if needed.
• Produce promotional content, highlight packages, archived recordings, and digital assets for athletics, marketing, recruiting, and sponsorship purposes.
• Coordinate setup, testing, operation, and teardown of all production equipment.
• Maintain backup streaming, recording, and production systems to minimize service interruptions.
• Production schedules, staffing plans, communication protocols, and event-day operational plans.
• Work in coordination with internal stakeholders, event staff, athletics personnel, facility staff, and external partners.
• Support playoff games, championships, award banquets, and special event productions as required.
• Ensure compliance with all colleges, CCAA, and institutional media, broadcast, branding, and sponsorship standards and policies.
• Annual recommendations regarding equipment upgrades, production enhancements, and operational improvements to maintain current industry standards and best practices.
