Publications Management Services

The Vendor is required to provide publication management services including the provision of interactive electronic technical manuals (IETM) for distributing common aviation equipment publications (CAEP).
- Tasks
• Department will provide either a publication amendment message, or a contract publication change transmittal form (department 570) describing the scope of the requested change.
• The generation and submission of department 570s is conducted within 6-3 in accordance with the document ref m process.
• Publication amendment by military message: urgent requirements for publication change will be initiated via military message.
• This process defines how routine changes to publications will be staffed and processed.
• Produce and distribute publications after amendments or changes
• The capability to produce and distribute publication in formats other than s1000d-compliant xml when requested by department.
• Publish publications in electronic/non-Ietm format using pdf file formats on a department.
