Strategic Planning Services to create a comprehensive strategic plan that clearly identifies, establishes, and defines methods for implementing and regularly measuring progress toward specific goals and objectives.
- Strategic plan shall allow the District to respond to emerging trends, events, challenges and opportunities within the framework of an updated mission and vision.
- The consultant will:
• Contribute ideas for consideration during the planning process. The consultant will identify and obtain data, collate and analyze gathered data, conduct interviews. initiate focus groups, and develop and facilitate the implementation of the plan.
• Develop and implement a needs assessment with profiles and outcomes (in areas such as academics/achievement, human and fiscal resources, operations, leadership, etc.) and establish annual update assessments.
• Establish a communication forum (e-mail group-survey/other) for information exchange and establish a steering committee.
• Coordinate input from a multi-disciplinary group of stakeholders.
• In conjunction with District support, organize meeting facilities, disseminate meeting announcements and agendas as well as develop meeting summaries which outline decisions and/or action items. The consultant team will facilitate meetings throughout the course of the project to gather input, discuss obstacles, and guide task development as required.
• Collaborate with staff, students and the community to revise the District's mission statement and vision.
• Identifies and create an inventory of current and existing services offered by the District and provide a matrix of any other available services.
• Develop a gap analysis of existing services and programs that includes any unmet needs and provide recommendations and measurable outcomes.
• Produce a strategic plan that includes goals/priorities, strategies and performance indicators.
• Provide comprehensive research summaries of evidence-based program models and best practices that may assist the District's work on the key elements of the strategic plan.
• Outreach in in-person sessions and/or surveys with staff, students (4th-8th grade) parents (multilingual capabilities), business partners
• Examination of common themes across stakeholders for development of areas of focus for strategic planning.
• Onboarding with cabinet and governing board for the process.
• Outward-facing dashboard for the community to see progress of the strategic planning process.
• Outward-facing dashboard option for community visibility of SMART Goals / KPIs in years following adoption of strategic plan.
