The vendor is required to provide for business outreach and strategic services (BOSS) to assist the chief business development officer with the development and implementation of specific assignments related to the business service liaisons, the business services unit (BSU).
- Establish strategy
• Level-set and information share: consult and strategize with the chief development officer and the business services liaison model (BSLM) for agency.
- Business service unit participation
• Facilitate the BSUs into a conversation with the workforce contractor, c2-gps, workforce contractor and leadership for training, discussion and feedback on the business services liaison model
- Moderated sessions/consultation/training
• Develop and facilitate work sessions and training for the c-2 leadership and business service consultants.
• Strategize with chief development officer to identify training topics.
• Develop training, curriculum/models/visuals and training timeline.
• Facilitate training sessions.
• Maintain progress notes and prepare reports.
• Plan and facilitate meetings, work sessions, planning, and training in accordance
- Expected outcomes
• Advance business services liaisons (BSL) training and enactment of new strategies along faster and help create a moderate space for collaboration at the board level and with the contractors.
• Train the business services unit (BSU) on these initiatives for the year:
o Move from industry-based to geographic model for liaisons,
o Develop a business pitch that every member of the BSU and board can get behind and use,
o Understand the 4 tiers of employer engagement and how it impacts our work, the “agency magic”- all parts of agency working together for employers and job seekers.
• Identify processes to measure impact of these efforts with data, perhaps surveys for the BSU or better KPIs.
• Obtain funding from at least one new funding source (foundation, corporate sponsorship, donors, fee-for-service, etc.) with an actionable plan for 2026.
