• Market analysis – a comprehensive analysis of the UAS and AAM industries nationally and in state, assessing growth trajectories and market demands.
• Asset mapping – identification and evaluation of existing aerospace infrastructure, testing facilities, NUAIR facilities, workforce capabilities, supply chain, and other assets as relevant to the industries.
• Benchmarking – comparative assessment of state position relative to other states and/or regions with established AAM and UAS ecosystems.
- Part 2:
• Economic impact modeling – quantifying projected job creation, industry growth, and potential tax revenues generated by AAM and UAS expansion.
• Use case development – identification of commercial and governmental applications, including on-demand air taxis, airport shuttles, regional air mobility, emergency medical transport, and drone logistics for cargo and medical supply delivery, drawing in part on case studies of strong UAS and AAM ecosystems in other states and regions
• Infrastructure integration – evaluation of integration strategies for AAM operations at state airports, including vertiports and urban airspace management.
• Policy and strategy recommendations – development of recommendations to best integrate and leverage state assets, attract manufacturing, enhance supply chain development, and secure public-private investment partnerships.
