RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide career services aims to create meaningful partnerships, offer guidance and expertise, and serve as leaders to help advance career education at the university.
- The current solution follows the following process:
1. Employers
• Registration: register by submitting their details for account approval.
• Job postings: submit job postings for approval by the career services office.
• Payments: payment may be required for job postings, career fair registrations, or other events.
• Payment is processed through an integrated payment gateway (e.g., moneris).
• Communications: automatic confirmations and reminders are received regarding their current postings, event registrations, student applications, and communications from career services (e.g., events, deadlines, opportunities for student engagement, etc.)
2. Applicants (students & alumni)
• Registration: access the platform using their university credentials.
• New alumni may need to create an account if their credentials are inactive.
• Application management: apply for jobs and internship opportunities, track applications statuses, and schedule interviews; may also register for events, appointments, and workshops.
3. Career services (usask staff & admins)
• System administration: manage job postings, applying tags, employer approvals, and student account access.
• Event & job posting approvals: create, review and approve job postings, employer registrations, and event requests.
• Appointments, workshops, and resources: create and manage appointment and workshop bookings and schedules, general calendar of events.
• Post workshop materials and appointment notes.
• Reporting & data management: generate reports on job placements, employer engagement, student applications and event participation.
4. Other users
• University units and departments: may post job openings, events, or co-op opportunities.
• External partners: some industry partners collaborate on career development initiatives and events.
- The platform will enable career services to connect local, national, and international employers with students and alumni for experiential learning (co-op and internships), employment and volunteer opportunities.
