RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide an enterprise warehouse inventory management solution that allows for integration with our enterprise resource planning (ERP) and electronic health records (EHR) systems, ability to control inventory and ensure optimum inventory levels to support the needs of our stakeholders, ease of use, and enterprise-wide visibility with a focus on patient safety through robust inventory data reporting, analytics, and product tracking.
- The inventory management needs of the following areas:
• Point of Use/Nursing Units
• Perioperative services
• Procedural areas – Cath lab, IR, di, endoscopy, cardio-pulmonary, vascular access and procedures
• Ambulatory and diagnostic imaging centers
• Clinical and research laboratories
- The system/vendor are as follows:
• Integration with ERP (PeopleSoft financials/supply chain)
• Integration with EHR (epic)
• Integration or replacement of package delivery system (vuetura)
• Management of product substitutions
• Product lot and serial tracking
• Product expiration date tracking
• Patient charging and patient documentation
• Reporting and analytics
• Barcode scanning and passive RFID
• Supports a mixture of par (inventory level) order, scheduled order and individual order replenishment processes
• HIPAA compliant
• Successfully implemented solution at comparably sized healthcare institution with similar, or larger, number of patient care areas.  
• Able to provide both implementation and post go-live support maintenance pricing models and timelines based on agency data provided.
• Must include direct access to all agency data. 
• It must include the ability for select users to query the data tables without going through the solution’s user interface/reporting website
• Provide detailed information for best practices on technical infrastructure requirements and architecture which include hardware and software.
• Provide a system that will deliver maximum software / infrastructure performance with best practice in up-time and system availability.
• Provide a system with best practice on security, data integrity and cyber prevention. 
• Mobile GUI version available for users to navigate the system and perform transactions from iOS and android devices
• Ability for users to perform inventory cycle counting, debit and increment transactions for individual items’ locations
• Authentication via agency azure SSO required
• SSO authentication required
• Implant and tissue tracking capabilities.
