The Vendor is required to provide a cloud-based automated interlibrary loan (ILL) management system for use in an academic library environment.
- The system shall have the following required features:
• Licenses: site license for all university students and faculty
• Access to a robust international resource sharing network for tangible and electronic materials.
• Ability to create customized request forms that use OpenURL to interface with discovery services (currently ex libris primo and worldcat.org).
• Functionality for copyright management, including connection to copyright clearance center (CCC).
• Integrates with integrated library system (EX libris collage) and discovery layer (EX libris primo and
worldcat.org).
• Integrates with university’s authentication system (SAML).
• Integrates with external services, including reprints desk and SCANNX.
• Ability to create custom reports, charts, and data visualizations.
• Meets standards for resource sharing platforms, including institute, z39.50, OpenURL and ISO 18626; if fed ramp-compliant; aligns with ISO 27001 and institute cyber security framework.
