The vendor is required to provide we are requesting k-5 curriculum and resources to review and pilot for the 2025-2026 school year as our school counseling core curriculum.
- Materials must align with the needs listed below.
• Aligned with the ASCA (academic, social/emotional, and college/career) model domains and mindsets and behavior standards - ASCA mindsets and behaviors
o Not all domains must be covered within one resource
• Curriculum and resources must be relevant- researched- and reality based
• K-12 curriculum(s) or resources currently or available in the next 2 years for a comprehensive system
• Multi-tiered and multi domain systems of support (MTMDSS): implement MTMDSS to provide differentiated instruction and interventions based on student need.
• Accessibility to the resource for all students
• Pre and post assessments
• Diverse and accurate representation of diverse groups, histories, and experiences, void of biases.
• Connecting or relating learning to students’ real-life experiences, communities, and culture.
• Developmentally grounded teaching activities
• Family engagement component- resources and activities that are culturally and linguistically responsive.
• Ability to use in virtual and online learning environments.
