The Vendor is required to provide for video and multimedia services to support the marketing and public relations activities of the college.
- Video projects will include but are not limited to recaps of special events, feature videos highlighting academic programs, short-form videos designed for social media, and b-roll footage for use in news media pitches.
- Pre-production
• Collaboration with college representatives to develop creative, compelling videos that focus on storytelling and accomplish the goals of each project.
• Planning meetings with college representatives to review goals and establish the style, content, length and delivery timeline of each video project.
• Written outline for each video project to include shot lists as well as key messages, interview questions and/or scripts as determined in planning meetings.
• Assist in selecting and preparing talent.
• Flexible scheduling options may be required to meet the needs of faculty, staff, students, and community partners to be featured in videos.
- Production
• Provide all personnel and equipment needed to capture professional video and audio, including but not limited to professional lighting, basic teleprompter, and drone for occasional aerial footage.
• Provide voice-over services as needed.
• Shoot locations most often will be located on or near the main campus of community and technical college.
• Other shoot locations may include the state campuses/centers as well as employer partner sites within the college’s 10-county service area.
- Post-production, delivery
• Provide all video editing services.
• Capability to provide video transcripts and rough-cut videos when requested, allowing for collaboration with college representatives on content and soundbites to be used in final product.
• Graphic design and photography capabilities to add visuals that engage viewers and promote the agency brand.
• In addition, the ability to add stylized subtitles as requested.
• Ability to deliver on short timelines, within 12 hours or less, when the occasion warrants it.
• For example, recap videos of evening graduation ceremonies should be presented for the first review the following morning; and some special events must be promoted quickly, with b-roll available immediately following the event and social media content to be published the same day.
• Deliver high-quality videos ready for college staff to download and publish to various web platforms.
• Deliver high-quality audio files for video projects that are also published as podcasts, etc.
• Store and provide raw video footage upon request.
