The vendor is required to provide that multilingual learner (MLL) data management system for appropriate MLL goal setting and to support educators and administrators working directly with MLLS in making instructional decisions based on student data.
- Provide access to a web-based platform with a unique username and password for sign-in;
- Coordinate with the district’s technology team to facilitate the data integration process with the district’s current student information system;
- Provide a web-based platform that houses and analyzes MLL related data that can be accessed and utilized at the district, school, grade and classroom level to identify trends and group students based on type of service, time in program and english language assessment progress;
- Provide a web-based tool that analyzes MLL student information and achievement data to support educators in setting language acquisition goals, developing and monitoring individual language development plans aligned to the WIDA english language proficiency standards;
- Provide a web-based tool that analyzes MLL student information and achievement data to support school and district level leaders in setting language acquisition goals, monitoring student progress towards set goals, and monitoring MLL compliance in regards to appropriate MLL identification, screening, placement, english language development services, as well as monitoring students who have recently exited MLL programs.
- Provide a web-based platform that supports educators working with MLL tools/research-based strategies necessary to successfully meet the language acquisition needs of identified MLL in ESL and bilingual and dual language programs.
- Provide training to staff; and
- Provide a train-the-trainer model so that on-going professional development can take place within the district.
- Annual performance measures with the following targets:
• The solution should be able to work seamlessly with the district’s current technology;
• Provide a team to coordinate and facilitate the implementation of the solution at the district level;
• Provide a designated person or team to deliver professional development to district team members;
• Provide timely and efficient technical support
• On professional development through exit slips and/or surveys.
• Utilization of MLL teaching strategies in the district which demonstrates growth along a continuum as evidenced
• Quarterly report on all activities and a data summary identifying successes and challenges.
