The vendor is required to provide s from experienced and qualified firms to provide consulting services for the design, contract administration and construction inspection services for country.

• Gather and review all existing available information such as record maps, survey information, geotechnical, school drawings, from sd42 consultants and city.
• The consultant shall gather and review all survey information in order to locate all existing boundaries, driveways, road lines, retaining walls, existing poles, ditches, culverts, trees and all permanent fixed improvements on city lands, school district or private lands that may be affected by the project.
• The drawings will be done on 24x36 arch d metric size plan-profile and plain drawing sheets incorporating the city of maple ridge logo.
• All drawings will become the property of the city; however, the consultant’s name shall be indicated on the drawings.
• Consultant shall design a synthetic field based on the provided conceptual plans to include a 100m x 60m field with soccer lines, mini soccer (perpendicular), u11 baseball diamond (2 u9 practice diamonds) and modified, unified field lacrosse lines for 100m x 60m including field fencing, backstops, player shelters and dugouts.
• The consultant shall liaise with all utilities and sd42 to verify the location of the systems and to establish any work that may be planned within the project area. close coordination with the sd42 re-building consulting team will be required for the relocation or adaptation of stormwater features planned below the field.
• The consultant shall prepare detailed field lighting, site servicing plans and landscape plans working with the consultant team for the project.
• Consultant shall prepare a cost estimate at the 50% drawing stage, 90% drawing stage and a pre-tender cost estimate.
• The consultant shall identify any existing conditions or limitations that become evident during the design process that could potentially affect the feasibility of the project with regard to constructability and cost.
• The consultant shall prepare an erosion and sediment control (esc) plan and a stormwater management plan to meet the requirements of the city of maple ridge.
• The consultant is responsible for determining a suitable future location for a small washroom facility in relation to the proposed synthetic field location.
• The consultant may be required to provide construction administration as defined within mmcd with services including but not limited to start up meetings, regular inspections of construction progress, substantial completion, final completion, preparation of reports, change orders, contemplated change orders, site instructions, and deficiency reports.
• The consultant may be required to provide construction inspection services including, but not limited to performing site inspections and prepare inspection reports daily and weekly documenting observed construction activities, take and maintain photographs providing documentation of construction activities, perform construction surveying verification as needed, and schedule and perform quality assurance and quality control to verify compliance with contract documents.
• Consultant shall prepare record drawings signed and sealed by a professional engineer.
