RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide to an ed-fi based system for state data collection and reporting.
- The purchase of and installation/implementation/maintenance of a solution to support the loading of various assessments into the local ed-fi operational data store (ODS) for downstream analytics and visualizations.
- This solution will be cloud-hosted in a single multi-tenant environment, ensuring efficient resource utilization and scalability.
- As a SaaS (Software as a Service) offering, it will provide seamless access to users across different tenants, with robust security measures to protect data integrity and privacy. 
• Develop or configure a web application that enables agency to load local academic assessments into an ed-fi operational data store.
• The end product must be available as an open-source or non-proprietary solution.
• Utilize earthmover and light beam tools for data transformation and transmission.
• The application must have a web interface accessible by select lea staff using single sign-on.
• Pre-configure automated mechanisms for agency to self-load various assessments.
• Support a wide range of assessments, including access, act.
• Provide tooling to support vendor-specific requirements and workflows for assessments like I ready, star, and map.
• Create mechanisms for agency to self-load assessment files where vendor-facilitated secure transfer processes are not available.
• Enable lea users to input an ed-fi key and secret to move assessment data to an ed-fi ODS via the ed-fi API.
• Map between ed-fi default descriptors and state ed-fi descriptors.
• Include tooling for identifier matching and reporting on unmatched assessment records.
• Allow lea users to load data from local assessments with features like a new assessment type creation interface, csv template generation, and an uploading tool for loading CSVS.
• The service level agreement (SLA) below applies to all production environments and must be in effect starting with system deployment. 
- Department requires a 99.9% uptime guarantee.
