The Vendor is required to provide elections digital message sign services.
- Requirements for the digital sign are as follows:
• Be low maintenance and constructed of outdoor/all-weather durable material
• Be approximately 8’ to 10’ in width and approximately 8-10’ in height and a double sided.
• Be internally illuminated with LED’S.
• Have direct pour concrete footings.
• Include county board of elections" logo and name in larger letters.
• Include a led electronic message board with compatible operating software with wireless programming capabilities connected to be operated by computers (preferred method of managing system would be cloud/internet based).
• Messaging space and capabilities is going to be key since we want to use it to promote upcoming voter registration & election information; election judge recruitment; community outreach opportunities, etc.
• Remove the existing sign and cover from the structure. Save faces to be reused in new sign.
• Dispose of old cabinet & cover.
• Dig and pour new 2nd steel pole and foundation to accept the larger size of the new sign in combination with the old pole and base.
• Fabricate all new aluminum structure as shown in attached new proposed sign.
• Top “Signage” will have internal LED illumination and message center that includes temperature sensor.
• Bottom cover of sign is aluminum with vinyl computer cut address installed.
• Provide up to 4 hours of training for learning how to program the sign.
