RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide that executive search services to conduct a search that will lead to the selection of a City Manager.
- This shall include, but not be limited to:
• Develop a community recruitment brochure to aid in the active recruitment of the state manager; brochure to be approved by the screening committee members prior to distribution.

• Conduct an aggressive and proactive recruitment campaign including, but not limited to, placement of ads in appropriate publications, on-line job services, etc.
• Network to attract applicants fit the job description, background, and qualifications who might otherwise not apply.
• Receive applications/resumes; applications received by the state will be forwarded to the search consultant. initially, the state desires to review the resumes of all applicants.
• Conduct an aggressive and proactive recruitment campaign including, but not limited to, placement of ads in appropriate publications, on-line job services, etc.
• Network to attract applicants who fit the job, background, and qualifications might otherwise not apply.
• Receive applications/resumes; applications received by the state will be forwarded to the search consultant; initially, the state to review the resumes of all applicants.
• Screen and evaluate applicants to match the recruitment profile; work with the screening committee to screen applicants down to a list of finalists for interviews.
- Optional services that may be requested from the selected provider:
• Coordinate and/or conduct reference and background checks
• Recommend a process for and assist the screening committee in conducting and coordinating all aspects of an interview process
• The state in the negotiation of an employment agreement with the final candidate
• Communicate with the state/screening committee the accomplishment of each step in the above defined recruitment process.
