RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide to enhance the professional development of city employees through the procurement of online IT certification courses & training.
- This initiative is focused on providing accessible, comprehensive training solutions that enable staff to expand their IT knowledge and skills in line with industry standards.
- A structured online training program, comprehensive certification courses, and ongoing support to ensure successful course completion and application of knowledge within the workplace.
- The online IT certification courses & training must meet the following specifications:
a. Course content:
• Courses must cover key IT certifications including but not limited to: CompTIA a+, CompTIA network+, CompTIA security+, cisco CCNA, cisco CCNP, cisco cybersecurity certifications, microsoft azure administrator, microsoft certified azure fundamentals, certified information systems security professional (CISSP) and project management professional (PMP) and Aws certified solutions architect.
• All training materials should include up-to-date content reflecting the latest industry developments and standards.
• Course offerings should encompass foundational, intermediate, and advanced levels tailored to different skill sets.
b. Platform:
• Training must be delivered through an interactive online platform that is user-friendly and accessible across various devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones. 
• The platform should support multimedia content, including videos, quizzes, and interactive simulations. 
• Training modules should have built-in tracking systems so that progress can be monitored by both the employee and the city’s training coordinators.
- Requirements
1. Onboarding and support:
• Initial onboarding for all users, including a tutorial on how to navigate the online platform.
• Provide technical support via email and chat during business hours.
• Offer re-training sessions for users who may struggle with course material.
2. Enrollment management:
• Ability to manage enrollment for city employees.
• Provide real-time reporting on employee progress and course completion.
3. Reporting and analytics:
• Provide regular reports on course participation, completion rates, and user performance metrics.
• Deliver feedback mechanisms to receive and incorporate participant suggestions for course improvements.
4. Updates:
• The vendor must regularly update course materials in accordance with the changes in IT industry standards and certifications.
• Provide continuous access to updated learning resources and documentation accessible at any time.
