- This platform serves as the central digital hub for the organization internal operations, including news and announcements, policy and procedure documentation, employee resources, internal department pages, and collaboration tools.
- The system is fully deployed and integrated across the organization, with established business processes and trained users.
- The purpose of the new agreement is to maintain uninterrupted access to interact’ s existing services and allow for the purchase of additional user licenses as needed to accommodate staffing changes.
- The organization has utilized interact’ s software as its intranet platform since 2019
- The commonwealth’s best interest to enter into a direct contract with interact intranet for the following reasons:
• Continuity of service: disruption of access to the intranet platform would impede daily operations, employee communication, and internal workflows.
• System familiarity: all staff have been trained on the current platform, and business units have structured their work around interact’ s capabilities.
• Avoidance of redundant costs: replacing the platform would require significant investment in procurement, implementation, data migration, and retraining without providing additional value.
• No material changes in scope: the organization is not requesting new system features, customizations, or integrations.
• This is a continuation of existing services.
