RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide staffing agencies with a brick and mortar located in the state.
- The staffing agency must make every effort to accept referrals from the state DDS (disability determination services – DDS) regarding consultants (physical, psychological, speech) who are seeking placement for the length of time specified in each request.
• All temporarily assigned consultants will be appropriately dressed for the assignment and must maintain a professional demeanor.
• Dress code policy is established by the DDS.
• Consultants must dress according to the requirements of the DDS requesting the assignment.
• Any required specific attire will not be provided by or reimbursed unless specified by DDS.
• DDS reserves the right to reduce the length of the temporary assignment and will provide the staffing agency with as much notification as possible.
• Qualifications, licensure, knowledge, skills, and abilities required of consultants must meet the minimum requirements as determined by DDS.
• Consultants must have the ability to work on an “as needed” basis.
• The state will require consultants on an “as needed” basis for the duration of this contract.
• DDS will not be responsible for the staffing agency’s consultants who voluntarily leave the staffing agency’s employment or engages in employment with another company.
• DDS has the right to refer qualified potential applicants to the staffing agency for processing and assignment to fulfill DDS needs.
• Staffing agency must have the ability to accept referrals from DDS.
• Consultants can be located anywhere throughout the state or the four states bordering.
• Requests for consultant fulfillment may be in the form of e-mail, facsimile, or telephone call from the DDS.
• The staffing agency must follow the DDS order placement processes.
• Obtain the information necessary to determine what satisfies each service request.
• Follow DDSS required fulfillment timeframes, which will be provided by the DDS.
• DDS will provide an agency specific timekeeping log.
• This log will be signed off by a supervisor.
• DDS is responsible for collecting or submitting these logs to the staffing agency.
• DDS will use the supervisor approved log for verification of hours billed on each invoice.
• Be available to the DDS between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm CST, Monday through Friday.
• Ensure all communication and approval regarding the contractual terms of this contract will go solely through the point of contact designated by the DDS.
• The DDS will provide a main point of contact to the staffing agency at time of order placement.
