The vendor is required to provide language interpreters for agency programs through a comprehensive language services program for persons whose primary language is Spanish.

- interpreters and translators:
• Are highly proficient and fluent in both english and the language being interpreted/translated. 
• Are able to accurately and idiomatically turn the message from the source language into the target language without any additions, omissions or other misleading factors that may alter the intended meaning of the message from the speaker.
• Have reliable forms of communication and computer equipment to be used for the work described herein, including but not limited to:
o Computer with supported version of windows 11 or newer,
o Appropriate anti-virus software,
o Microsoft word,
o Adobe reader,
o Email accounts for receiving and sending encrypted documentation, and
o Primary and back-up phones capable of prolonged periods of usage.
• Are adept at simultaneous interpretation, which is the most frequent form of interpretation used in hearings, and in consecutive interpretation and sight translation.
• Are able to be reached by telephone, postal mail or email, or other methods approved by agency. 
• Interpreters and translators will be contacted by telephone, postal mail or email, or other methods approved by agency, and must be able to receive correspondence such as notices and evidentiary documents from agency about scheduled work prior to commencement of the work.
