The Vendor is required to provide nonpublic school security guards services.
- Services include:
• Must provide senior management that is available 24-hours a day for conferral on contract issues.
• Must meet all standards and requirements of licensing security personnel as specified by the state.
• Must ensure all drivers of vehicles have a valid state driver's license with less than six (6) points of violation.
• Must ensure all security staff is able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must pay all wages and expenses to their staff within the district at least semi-monthly.
• Must pay federal, state and social security taxes, as well as unemployment taxes and any other personal and payroll taxes.
• Must ensure prospective security staff has received drug testing and pre-employment psychological testing, with results made available to the district upon request.
• Must ensure that all security staff provided to the county board of education/nonpublic schools shall be well groomed and wear clean uniforms that meet the specifications.
• Must provide pre-assigned post training set forth by the specifications.
• Must provide training on legal restrictions of arrest, search and seizure, use of force, detection and reporting of fires, and the use of fire safety equipment.
• Must maintain an adequate complement of security staff at all times.
• Must have an adequate number of back up security staff.
• Must replace all absentee guards with fully qualified security staff who have been trained for nonpublic school sites.
• Must make available all staff involved in incidents at the county board of education, in connection with all administrative, court cases and school internal investigations and hearings arising from or in connection with such incidences.
• Must provide legal counsel as necessary, for administrative or court proceedings, if requested by district security personnel.
