RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide operations software and/or noise and flight tracking software services.
- Operations software (“system”)
• Real-time surface management and shall track aircraft to/from the gate and to/from the runway by utilizing agency -x feed and/or ads-b data for the most accurate data possible (one second or less refresh rate of aircraft positions).
1. If required for gate-to-gate coverage, additional equipment/sensors shall be installed by the awarded offeror.
2. Due to ongoing construction and airport layout changes, any awarded offeror-installed equipment shall be relocated by the awarded offeror as needed for continued operability and coverage of the system.
• Alarm when an aircraft is delayed for a user defined period of time away from a gate via screen prompt, text message, and/or email.
• Flight diversion notifications to multiple user defined parties via screen prompt, text message, and/or email.
• Customizable to alarm on any user defined criteria governing the data provided by the system.
• Designate “zones of interest” and be able to generate reports on all user defined activity in this given area (i.e. deicing pads).
• Capable of providing a replay of past events/timeframes for agency analysis purposes.
• Capable of saving a flagged event for user access for two (2) years and archived for five (5) years.
• Capable of confirming that an aircraft has arrived at a gate and provide the gate assignment.
• Capable of integrating with agency safe gate functionality and data.
• Capable of disseminating information to a large number of recipients on the current conditions of the airfield, including the following.
1. Issuance of notams,
2. Ability to chat/instant message with other users,
3. Logging and archiving chats,
4. Monitor the status of other airport conditions nationwide,
5. Link to documents and/or websites,
6. Ability for the user to configure what types of notifications are received, and
7. Interface shall be web-based.
• Capable of supporting multiple simultaneous users.
• With defined users, the system should support multiple work-spaces created per user for quick startup of the user interface
- Noise and flight tracking web portal (“portal”)
• Portal requirements:
1. Provide a public portal to view flight tracks and data in real time hosted in the cloud.
2. Online flight tracker must display aircraft type, altitude, tail, and/or flight number, and operation type over a geographic map of the city including areas over the city international airport, south valley regional airport, and city airport.
3. The public must have the ability to use a smartphone, tablet, or computer location to center the map display and show relative aircraft position, bearing and altitude with respect to their specific address or selected address.
5. Users must be able to go back in time to view real time data for a specified time.
• Software requirements
1. Software must be able to be added to the airport’s website.
2. Software must be compatible with iOS and android.
3. Software must be compatible with the most common internet browsers including, but not limited to internet explorer, chrome, Firefox, and safari.
4. Accessibility: compliant with the web content accessibility guidelines 2.1 level AA.
