The vendor is required to provide that pharmacist recovery network committee consultant services for monitoring participants for compliance with terms of settlement agreements; contacting participants for random urine drug screens; communicating with participants' therapists regarding progress and treatment; maintaining a case file on each participant with properly executed release forms; screening and interviewing new candidates for the program; making recommendations regarding ongoing rehabilitation programs.
- Consultant will maintain timely and accurate communication with the board on significant events occur that are related to impairment and the ability to practice safely.
- The early identification, intervention, treatment and rehabilitation of state pharmaceutical professionals be impaired by reason of illness, alcohol or drug abuse, or as a result of any physical or mental condition.
- Investigate all applicants and licensees referred to them by board of pharmacy provided the nature of said investigation pertains to impaired pharmaceutical professionals issue as outlined.
- The consultant oversees licensees and registrants identified as impaired; tracking their recovery and completion of board requirements.
